United States of America v. SSG Alberto Martinez:In June 2005, while serving in Iraq, SSG Martinez was charged with premeditated murder for the deaths of his Commander, CPT Esposito and his Executive Officer, Lt Allen who were killed when a claymore mine detonated next to CPT Esposito's office window. My investigation revealed that another soldier could have committed the murders. The defense attorneys, Major J. Gregory and Major M. Cipriano, were able to introduce that evidence and on December 2008, SSG Martinez was found not guilty. This case made national news.
U.S. of America vs. SFC David Martinez: SFC Martinez was accused of raping Spc. J. Ortiz while they were both stationed in Iraq during the Gulf War. My investigation revealed information discrediting Spc. Ortiz's claim and the rape charges against SFC Martinez were dropped. This case made national news.
State Cases:
State of Arizona vs. William Herrera:William Herrera had been sentenced to death along with his father and brother for the murder of a law enforcement officer. The father died in jail and the brother’s death sentence had already been commuted to life. My investigation revealed information which resulted in my client’s death sentence being commuted to life.
State of Texas vs. John Moore:John Moore was arrested for the murder of a prostitute in El Paso, TX. My investigation revealed evidence pointing to a well known, local football player. Mr. Moore was never indicted.
State of Texas vs. Jesus Garcia : Jesus Garcia had previously been convicted for murder but his case was remanded for retrial. My investigation revealed witnesses that had not been interviewed during the first trial which resulted in my client being found not guilty on the basis of self defense.
